Thanks once again old son for allowing me to join in and proffer my views on this pop music malarkey. There are few things likely to make less sense to me than pop music but I do feel honoured that I can pass comment on things that 90% of the time are a confusing farago of loud repetitive noises and troublesome trousers.

I enjoy rubbing shoulders with the pop fraternity that you gather at these times – young Matt for example. A fine chap I’d wager, one that I would be quite happy to stand a pint of Mild down at The Crown – I am confident at least that he would not provoke the usual burning torches and pitchfork wielding mob reaction that youthful flamboyance excites in the regulars, not unless The Feeling happened to walk in at the same time.

As usual, I am in awe at your insight – I had completely missed the genetic link between Muriel Misery Guts and the Mong from Deliverance. Now that you have pointed that out I feel that I had previously missed something fairly obvious. For which much thanks.
