Gorillaz New Track !

Fresh out of the studio comes ‘Doncamatic’, a brand spanking new track from Gorillaz featuring Daley.

Recorded just a few weeks ago, Gorillaz were so excited about this stunning new cut, they wanted to unleash it onto the world as soon as humanly possible! All bouncing beats, deep funk grooves and sumptuous soothing vocals (courtesy of hot new British talent Daley), this track just makes you want to move. And in case you ‘ re wondering; inspiration for the track and the title comes from The Donca Matic – the groundbreaking Japanese-designed drum machine which started the Korg Musical Instrument Company in 1963!

Gorillaz critically acclaimed latest album, ‘Plastic Beach’, (featuring collaborations with Snoop Dogg, Kano, Little Dragon and Mo s Def to name but a few) has sold over 1.5 million copies worldwide and for the first time ever, the real-life Gorillaz band are taking their show on the road. The world tour is currently storming the USA , with dates to follow in Europe and the UK ( London , Manchester , Birmingham & Brighton all in November) before heading off to Australia via Hong Kong .

    I like it.

    I recall reading your live show report of their show recently – and was impressed how you bucked the popular trend of bashing this crew – from your description it sounds like it was a quality show.

    Much like this track. Quality.
